My name is Alex and I live in the beautiful State of Maine, in the Northeast of the US.

I speak English, German, and a little French and Spanish. I share my home with my amazing husband, a dog and two cats.

I have been penpalling for about 16 years and I think I'll always love it! There's nothing better than finding a bunch of fat, colorful envelopes in my mailbox that contain long letters and little surprises from my amazing friends all over the world. :) I'm addicted to snail mail and opening our mailbox is like Christmas every day haha I also enjoy swapping all kinds of (paper) goodies.

I also love the outdoors, fishing, canoeing, four wheeling, sewing/quilting (I'm kinda addicted to pretty fabric haha), playing with my cats and dogs and watching sunrises.

I ALWAYS send my swaps as soon as possible, and always on time. Most of the time I send it on the same day when I find out who my swap partner(s) is/are or the next day. So, in case you don't receive my swap, please contact me first before giving me a 1, so I can re-send my swap. Thank you!

Same goes for my ratings. I rate my partners as soon as I receive their swaps. If you haven't received a rating, feel free to message me...but it's very likely that I haven't received your swap yet if I haven't rated you yet.

I'm a patient person and I know the mail service can be very slow sometimes. :)

I love love love touristy postcards (countries, states, cities, sights, landscapes etc) and I LOVE sending postcards and decorating them (it's addicting lol), ATCs (another addiction of mine haha), paper, stationery, cute/colorful stickers, anything air mail related, rainbow colors, cute tape, rubber and clear stamps, cute fabric, pens, receiving mail, old US stamps, the 80s, my '84 Bronco :D, cougars, whales, lighthouses, autumn/fall, mushrooms (esp. on ATCs), nature, trees, woodland creatures, maps (I'd be so happy to receive any old maps you don't need anymore!), making envelopes, mail art, Montana, Alaska, Greenland (the North in general), Thanksgiving, pumpkins, arts & crafts stores, fabric stores, night skies, sunrises, ocean and a lot more.

I love pretty, touristy postcards from all over the world with cities, towns, sights, lighthouses, ocean, bridges, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, beautiful landscapes, nature scenes, mountains, beaches, maps etc.

I'm still looking for nice USA viewcards from: CT + MD...so if you have a card of one or more of these states, I'll be more than happy to do a private swap with you! :-)

Postcards other than touristy cards: IF you have to send me a non-touristy card I'd love something colorful (I love rainbow colors :D), flowers, cards with positive/encouraging quotes on the front, cougars, lynx or something nature related (only wildlife, no domestic animals please)

I love love love making and trading ATCs! :D

I especially like mushroom ATCs and I have a nice collection..I also like moon/night, ocean, under water, vintage, travel, maps, nature, animal and rainbow themed ATCs. But any card is welcome as long as it's not just a plain card with a few stickers on it.

I love seeing all the different techniques everyone is using to make those beautiful cards.
