Jim's mom has been diagnosed with uterine carcinosarcoma (did I spell that right?). It apparently is one of the worst types of uterine cancer to have (there are more than one). There is a 50% chance of it coming back, so she'll need to have chemo therapy and radiation after she recovers from a complete histerectomy, which is scheduled for the 22nd of this month. I won't be participating in very many swaps due to money. I'll be selling a lot of all of our things just so we have some money to keep the house as long as we can, because she's having to medically retire from teaching. I'm 29 years old, engaged, and have 2 dogs named Jack and Sparrow. Yep, we're pirate fans! I'm not a dog person, though I DO love my own dogs... I love cats. My kitty lives with my mom. Right now, I sell random stuff on ebay and have my own Etsy shop. :-) I can be found at thrift stores, yard sales, and flea markets on weekends.

I help take care of my fiance's mom. She's handicapped and teaches the 5th grade. I drive her to and from school. I love to cook for them. Jim and I plan on getting married on Halloween 2009-our favorite holiday.

I cut my own ATC blanks using my paper cutter. I measure them up and cut them out of old flash cards, card games that have thick cardboard cards, and I've just about used up an entire old tarot deck. This is just my way of saving money on having to buy them. If you'd like to swap for some, let me know. I have tons and am constantly finding new pieces of cardboard and other thick papery items to make into ATC blanks. :-) Oh yeah, and I have a set of New Kids on the Block trading cards from 1989 that are EXACTLY 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches! They're definitely going into the ATC blank stack....after all, the NKOTB cards weren't doing that well on ebay, so I decided ATC blanks all the way!

This list is only to give you an idea of what I like. I am in NO way begging for anything on any of my lists. I really and truly enjoy handmade items and I love to see other people's interpretations of what I love in swaps AND what they/you love. :-)

Lately, I've been making paper flower bouquets for Mother's Day and birthdays. I'm planning on getting married on Halloween and will be making Halloween themed bouquets for my reception. :-)

-a HUGE stack of old Disney books with great pictures. They're all in Swedish, but the pictures are perfect for paper crafts. USA only, please, and I will send them out MEDIA MAIL to you.

-TONS of different spools of wide (maybe over an inch, but definitely not as wide as 2 inches) ribbon in various colors. Most of the spools have 20-25 yards of ribbon on them, and some even have 100 yards. Perfect for making up bundles or things for swapping or bundles for your etsy or ebay shop. Most ribbon is acetate, Sea Maid kind, and some satin.

-Kawaii items: I have stickers, stationery, and flake stickers as well (tons of it, and I'm just not that into it anymore

-Powerpuff Girls items: string of Powerpuff Girls party lights, still in the box....I will be adding more to this list of PPG items, once I think of them. Hee hee! :-)

Check my FLICKR photostream for: a NEW CONDITION San Francisco natural canvas totebag. REALLY cute, I just never used it! It has sewn on sequins, an orange interior, a velcro closure, and a zippered section inside for those "monthly items" we all need. It looks like a vintage postcard of the Golden Gate bridge, really. :-)

-plastic poker chips: got them at one of the local thrift stores near me and meant to use them on magnets, but never did.

-stickers!!!! I have SO many stickers! Please take some off my hands. I'll not offer all of them to the same person, though. 100 in a grabbie, please.

-Alphabet (letters) stickers! I have a ton of these as well, in incomplete sets. Please let me know if you'd like a grabbie of those (will definitely offer more than 100 per grabbie!), randomly cut up sheets, in several different styles.

-a business sized envelope stuffed full of red, black, and possibly white iron-on letters-about an inch tall.

I adore: blackberry, peppermint, spearmint, lavender, lemongrass-sage, HONEYSUCKLE (LOVE IT!) and mild, fresh scents. I love sugar scrubs, handmade soap, and bodywash.

I dislike: perfume, body spray, super strong floral scents, coconut, and most fruit scents, except for blackberry, which I love.
