I am from the State of Indiana in the U.S. I have a husband and four married daughters and three grandchildren and one great grandchild. My husband is retired and I work from home as a Freelance Technical Editor and Sample Maker for several fabric companies and I absolutely LOVE the work! I am involved with the Quilters Hall of Fame located in the Historic Marie Webster House in Marion, Indiana and love that as well! I have been a serious quilter for nearly 40 years.
My favorite block from the book is No. 57 Margaret mainly because that is how I felt as my children were growing up and it is an Indiana story.
I love the colors of sky blue and yellows and am not fond of solids but love tonal prints.I am not fond of burgundy colors, black or dark browns. I love lighter looks.
I have no particular fabric content preference. As a sample maker I work with many different types of fabrics.
This is a very exciting prospect for me and I am eager to get to make new friends. Please let me know if you have any questions for me. Looking forward to "meeting" you!
