I am a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 6. I love people, babies, art, nature, music, color, fall, snow, the mountains, the ocean, birds, thunderstorms, gardening, reading, singing, writing,..etc! My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been married 41 years in June of 2010. We are both Christians and are from the midwest. I have a hot pink art room, that I wish I could expand.... I do greeting cards, scrapbooking, stamping, painting, and funky art. A friend I met on an airplane 2 years ago, and I, have had a collaborative art journal going for the past 2 years. I am looking for someone to do another journal with. My love for art started unknowingly, when as a little girl, I spent so many wonderful hours coloring and drawing...I loved school and the fun projects the teachers always came up with. My husband and I are empty nesters, so I have plenty of time to spend in my art room, creating treasures. I really don't watch much TV. My hubby and I like to make popcorn, then watch videos and DVD's together. I like to read historical romance. One of my favorite authors is Francine Rivers. I am a history nut and enjoy finding websites, where I can download free vintage ephemera images and old photos to use in my art. I'm for comfort and like to dress in loose skirts, shirts and sandals. I hope to make some long lasting friendships through these swaps.
