Let’s have a cat fight!! For this swap you will make Cat stamped bean bags for 5 partners. Cat Fight Bean BAgs

1. Carve a rubber stamp of a cat.

2. Stamp your cat stamp onto a piece of solid color cotton fabric 6 times. (You are making a bean bag for your five partners and one for yourself.) I use printing ink and heat set it with an iron. You can use any ink if it will stay on fabric and is bright enough to see. My squares are usually 4 to 5 inches for a bean bag that ends of being 3 to 4 inches.

3. Using 100% cotton fabric scraps, make the back of your bean bags.

4. Sew your bean bags together leaving a hole on one side so that your beans can go in. I used #5 cotton thread. It’s the kind that you make friendship bracelets out of.

5. Fill each bag about ¾ full so that the beans can move around, and they don’t hurt when you throw the bean bag.

6. Sew up the fourth side of your bean bag.

7. Keep one bean bag for yourself and send one bean bag to each of your five partners. You should end up with a set of six bean bags for your cat fight. (My students love them, and my teacher friends use them In their science classes and English classes to move conversation along. These don’t weight that much so it shouldn’t cost too much postage.

Now for the necessary parts. I do check profiles. NO 1’s or 3’s in the past 6 months. If you look like a flaker, I will probably drop you from the swap. We will make quality product, so I want to make sure everyone’s work gets to each partner in the best possible way. Rate your partners and communicate with your partners if you are having trouble.
