Draw Your Own Character Post Card Swap

This is for people who like getting both art and a friendly greeting from their swaps. You start with a blank postcard (most likely strong or reinforced cardstock or thin cardboard) and gesso, paper, paint, collage, whatever, over it to give it a nice background. This will be the post card image side. You will then draw a character of your choice. (simple or complex) giving a nice greeting from on top of the back ground layer.

The character being colored in would give it a pop, but if it looks nice otherwise, go for it. The other side will be filled out the same as a normal postcard with address info and everything. The message just needs to be something that you think will make a person's day, or make them smile or laugh. Everyone needs a bit of a lift sometimes. :)

Please put a lot of effort into it. You dont have to be an artist or an awesome scrapbooker, just put thought and a sense of caring into it.
