gold This swap is for store bought postcards that have a black & white photo on them. You know, postcards that have black and white older photos on them like the example above (this one is hard for me to explain for some reason). This swap is to send those store bought postcards that have black and white photo on them to your partner and receive other black and white photo postcards. If you do not own any black and white photo postcards, go out and buy some before joining. NO handmade black and white photo postcards are allowed. You must be a good swapper to join up, I will be on the lookout for people with too many no sends. There will be two partners, so send one black and white photo postcard to two people. International people are welcome to join. Postcards should be written and stamped, unless your partners profile says otherwise. Have fun!

If you need to find postcards, you can always buy some in a gas station (or ask the clerk where to find postcards), gift shop at any attraction, Wal-Mart sometimes has them, Walgreens usually does have them, grocery stores, online at eBay or for the best postcards check out http://www.pomegranateartbooks.com and look for postcards on their website.

Can these B&W have a sepia tone to them? I know B&W means Black & White, but some of these repro cards are more of sepia in nature...just curious...or could be just a DUH blonde moment over here. :D

Sepia tone is fine, as long as the postcard isn't in color. :)

Lake, here we go again with the postcard people. Black and White is what I got and what I will send, not sepia, not colored just black and white and I hope I get the same in return. Stop giving into these swappers.

I just thought sepia would be ok, because the photos of my family from more than one hundred years ago are both in sepia and black & white, but mostly sepia tone. Ladydy wants only black and white postcards, if you get her for a partner and only have sepia tone, then message me and you can send me your sepia tone and I will send ladydy5 a black and white postcard. If anyone else has any objections to receiving a sepia tone (meaning that tan hue) please post here. Thanks!

Well, it's your swap Lake... so you decide what is okay to send and what not

I sent a sepia and got a snippy response. I have received cards that weren't exactly what was called for and don't leave any comments.
