Anything but a Ziplock

This is a swap for containers (other than Ziplocks), that can be used to send swap items in. Some ideas include: fabric bags, drawstring bags, boxes, or tins. You may have other ideas. Your containers can be handmade (for those of you who love to sew or are otherwise crafty), store-bought, or something from your own stash. They can be any shape or size.

One never knows where one might come across fun things to use for swap containers. Earlier this year I found myself at a rock & mineral shop. They had these really cool small mesh drawstring bags with designs on them. Of course they were to hold small rocks, but I had other ideas…they are perfect for small swap items! They were only 30 cents each so I bought a few. I’ve also seen plain colored mesh bags in the wedding aisle of craft stores.

In this swap you will send 3 containers to each of your 2 partners. For fun, try to make them all different if you can; they can be similar but have different colors or patterns on them. The swap is sender’s choice.
