Survival Kit

I just wrote this exact same idea into my Swap Idea book yesterday! I am soooo in! :D

I would LOVE a U.S. only version of this.

From above: This is sender's choice but you MUST read your partner's profile. Do not send a cook's survival kit to someone who hasn't stated they are a cook!

YES - this is sender's choice but must be something related to your partner so you have to read the profile. Another example - do not send a Christian survival kit to someone who states they are atheist.

Any guidelines as to how big/expensive the kit should be?

I would also like to know how many items the kit should contain and what they should cost. I'll watch this swap.

If you look at the above sites you can see some excellent examples but here are 2 Kit examples for you to view:

Tootsie roll - so you can "roll" down the highway Sponge - to soak up the rain, so you don't have to drive in it Mounds - for the mounds of miles that you drive Marbles - to replace the ones you've lost Gem - to remind you that you are carrying precious cargo Aspirin - take two every day Cotton Ball - to cushion those rough roads Rubberbands - for when your patience is stretched Tums - for all the nervous stomachs Mirror - to remind you how important you are.

A stick of gum - To remind you to stick with it! A paper clip - To help keep things together. A pencil - For the next time somebody says "get the lead out" An eraser - To erase any mistakes or misunderstandings. A recipe - To make when you have all that extra time in the summer! A joke - Laughter is the best medicine.

As you can see it is small and inexpensive items. I'd say each kit should have a minimum of 7 items (can be more!). Cost will be different depending on the type of kit that is put together. It could cost between $2-$6 for a kit as you may have many of the items on hand. The idea of this swap is not about the money spent but the thought you put into your kit. It's a swap meant fo bring a smile to your partners face. Hope this helps! Any other concerns let me know!
