Happy News

I wish there was a newspaper that contained only “happy” news. It’s so depressing these days to even read the paper with all its various articles about the evil in this world. But I guess it does create lots of things to pray about!

Every once in awhile though, along comes a piece of happy news. Like yesterday, there was an article in our local paper about a couple who had been married for 78 years. Wow! I’ve seen these articles before as part of an ongoing series of long marriages. They interview the couple and it’s just a pleasure to read.

For this swap, you will send one article of “happy” news to your partner. It can be something you cut from your local newspaper, or it can come from an online newspaper. Please include a friendly note (or letter) to your partner as well.
