Frog & Toad Are Friends

If, like me, you grew up reading the Frog & Toad children's series you'll recognize the book title.

If not, don't worry about it.

This swap is to celebrate all things froggy (and toady).

Frogs and Toads and have always been high on my list of favorite critters, and they deserve a little celebration. Amphibians are facing a massive extinction event, and the world will be sadder without them, so I thought I'd raise a little awareness and celebrate these slimy friends.

Send an envelope stuffed with a couple items from this list:

• hand-drawn card or greeting card featuring frogs
• a frog-themed art envie
• stickers
• bookmark
• froggy ATC
• quality photograph of frog/toad
• bumper sticker
• list of frog species native to your area
• little story about why you like frogs or some experience you've had with them
• frog-printed paper or swatch of froggy fabric
• magnet
• buttons
• etc.

Anything small that will fit in an envelope. If you're feeling fancy and want to send a small package with a larger froggy craft, go for it. Kermit the Frog? A-okay. I'd say pick 2 or 3 things from the list, but if you've got one really fantastic thing and want to just send that, that's okay. The idea is to share your love of frogs with other frog lovers, lets not get too caught up in details. Similarily, there is no purchase value for this swap, but I will tell you I'm picturing not spending much more than a few bucks, and if you can get by with just what you've got around the house, that's fine.

In the spirit of celebrating all things amphibious, if you want to toss in something salamander related as well, go for it.

I've left this swap open to newbies, but no flaking please. If you get a flaker, please post their names on your profile and inform me so I can do the same. I will try to angel if you get flaked on. Please give your partner a 5 if they sent you something froggy, even if you don't like it. If you really liked it, or they went above and beyond, give them a heart.

Because these will be small packages, I'm leaving this open internationally. If this is an issue for anyone (shipping costs), message me and I'l work something out.
