I've received quite a few paper goods swaps with bent corners, even with a piece of cardboard in the envelope. I wrap a stack of loose memo sheets (and/or letter sets) in plastic wrap then put that between two slightly larger pieces of cardboard and tape the sandwich tightly together. This prevents their shifting inside the package.

I usually use a notecard/greeting card to ship these in.

I received bent mini memo sheets in a note card earlier this week. Yes, someone stamped Do Not Bend all over the envie. I put them under my warm laptop to flatten them out. That worked pretty well.

I think a little extra stiffening is in order, perhaps supplementing a note card with a piece of cardboard. This works best when I position the grain of the card and the cardboard perpendicular to each other. When you bend card stock or cardboard you can feel that it bends more easily in one direction that the other. The easier bend is the direction of the sheet's grain.
