Description:

Welcome to the eighth installment!

For this swap, you will write a letter to one swap partner. Within your letter, you will answer a bunch of specific questions!

THE FUN: Each participant will get to come up with one question for all of the participants to answer and will post that question in the swap comments. Questions must be simple (answerable in one sentence or less)- but can be serious or silly! Please post only one question and please do not post a question until you are sure you will participate in the swap. I will email the list of questions to all the participants once the swap begins so everyone will have the full list. I will also post the final list in the swap comments.

THE CHALLENGE: You must weave the answers to the questions into your letter. Do not send a survey-style list of questions and answers. Rather, do your best to include the answers in a conversational way, as you would in any normal letter.

Letter may be handwritten or typed - however you typically write letters to penpals. As far as length, use common sense based on how much space it takes to answer all the questions and also make it a good penpal letter for your partner.

REQUIREMENTS: All participants must have a filled-out profile. Experienced swappers must have a 4.95 rating and no recent or unexplained 1 ratings. Newbies (those with fewer than 10 ratings) are welcome but MUST PM ME FIRST. Any newbies who don't PM first will be banned. I've found that this is a good way to make sure those who join have read the entire swap requirements and reading full requirements is a good indicator that someone won't flake!

This swap needs at least 6-7 people to be fun - I will cancel if the total number of participants is 5 or fewer.

Great questions everyone! Just so you're aware, since there are going to be at least 16 of us in this swap, I will drop the "and why" part of the questions - standard procedure for this swap if there are more than 8-10 of us!

Ribbons 07/24/2011 #

What are your most happiest and most heart breaking (saddest) moments in your life ?

Ribbons 07/24/2011 #

@Cosima I love that question. Maybe sometime , you can create a swap based upon this idea ? I am sure we can have lots of fun. :)

Cosima 07/24/2011 #

@Ribbons Thank you. Great idea for a swap, I haven't thought about it yet.

so this has to be put into paragraphs without mentioning questions? cause...there are A LOT of topics... if its all in paragraphs its going to sound really jumpy

mathaholic 07/26/2011 #

Luminescentlove - I've rearranged the questions into like-subject chunks and written a introductory pen-pal style letter that would eventually answer all the questions. If you want to see an example, PM me and I'll send you mine ^.^
