Description:

I stumbled across this awesome tutorial on how to make a pocket booklet with one sheet of 12" x 12" paper. It's so easy and has so many options.

Tutorial here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-AAaGQwDB0

** We are going to put something in each of the 8 pockets for our partner that they can use for Crafting. Of course that could be just about anything but I was thinking along the lines of a folded piece of vintage paper, some ribbon, a small package of tiny treasures, a tag, etc.

Make 1 pocket booklet with goodies for 1 partner

Please: * use 2 sided paper * add a way to keep the booklet closed * make the front altered and more than just plain * do your best work

This is a pretty inexpensive and simple swap. I'm including an Addiction Warning :o)

Thanks ukstash! I was having troubles with all of my links yesterday. I don't know if it was operator error or if there was a system problem.

Ok just copied and pasted the link and got it to come up and I am so IN! Excited to get started and how cute!

Oh, yeah, they're SO addictive! I'm watching because I'm not sure how busy I will be in the next few weeks, yet.

Is this profile-based, or sender's choice?

Juliajae 06/25/2011 #

Senders choice! It would be nice to put things in the booklet that your partner could use though :)

Just made my first book! FUN! easy peasy and room for improvment! how cute!

Just tried my first one. Really fun to do, but still need more practice. For some reason, I think my creases are straight, but then, the final product is not ;-).

I was wondering... Do the 8 things have to be absolutely IN the pockets?

When I put them in, my booklets gets so thick, it's going to cost me around 7-8$ to ship to US (and forget Intl). If I could put a few in and a few loose in the envy, it would end up less thick and I could send it for 2.25$.

I loved making mine, although it took a few attempts to get the creases straight, I agree with @Toupti the creases seem ok, the turn out wonky!. I also wouldnt mind receiving my booklet with the "insides" seperate, perhaps a little note to say which pocket each thing goes in? UK mail seems to be the opposite to the US, it works out cheaper to send something as a small packet as opposed to a large letter....go figure?!
