Description:

If you are like me, you have a couple "extra" ATCs sitting around your desk, that you made in 2007.

For a "FRESH START" for 2008, lets send off the 2007 ATCs to someone ( giving us a "FRESH START" to make new ones) and giving our partners a "FRESH START" of 2008 with some new ATCs for their collections.

You will have 3 partners, and send 2 ATCs to each. *3 partners times 2 ATCs = 6 ATCs total.

Remember these are ones you have already made, ( or can make before the end of the year). So most any theme is fine, as long as you are considerate of your partner's profiles. * For hearts, send some extra papers, yarns, charms, brads, etc. for your partner's new ATCs. This is International, but because of only 2 ATCs, the cost should be minimal. Newbies are welcome...but you have to promise to send !!! As always, if you sign up, you will be expected to send out!

Since I'm lazy, I'm just gonna state it here, just in case anyone would wonder.

Given the quite experimenta, and not always that succesful, nature of my "extra" ATCs, I'm going to make (and partly already have made) an extra ATC for each of my swap partners. So, brace yourself, who ever you are. For you are about to receive not 2 but 3 cards.

I have my ATC's all ready to go. Can't wait to get names & addresses so I can send them off. I'm glad these "leftovers" are going to have new homes!!! An ATC is never truly happy until it finds a home ;)

Looks like our coordinator is still on holiday vacation.....

ArtzyDiva 01/ 3/2008 #

Yeah, but shouldn't the system of automatically assigned partners?

DJPirtu 01/ 4/2008 #

Yes and now. It seems that you have to tell the system to asign the partners. Once you do, the actual asigning will be automated.

I belive the reason for this is to give the coordinator time to clear out all unwanted swappers before the assigning partners. If he/she would have to do that right before the dead line, there would be a posibility for someone to enter just in the nick of time and get assigned, even tough the coordinator wouldn't have approved them joining (for what ever reason).

That makes sense! I know every swap I've hosted partners were assigned automatically but it doesn't mean that hasn't changed.

Greetings Swappers !! My SINCERE Apologies for being AWOL ( that's military for Absent With Out Leave). My Husband, son and I went to Arizona (USA) to visit relatives and stayed longer than our plan. If any of you have gone to the Grand Canyon in Arizona, you can understand my awe. None the less, I have been amiss in my duties as hostess. I see that the "system" has assigned partners in my absence, and hope you all have a great time with this swap, despite me!
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you. Colleen Fingers, Inc.

Mine in the mail today (although they've been ready to go for ages ;) ) - first chance I've had to get to the PO. I've already received one set, too!
