Description:

I was cleaning out all the old holiday cards I bought and never sent and regretting that Grandparents Day isn't for months and months, and maybe I shouldn't keep buying Christmas Cards if I'm not going to send them...and once again, YOU, Dear Swap-botters entered my mind. I thought, "Aha! I know who would like this card!" That someone was YOU. Yes, YOU. You like a good, ratings-getting swap, I know you do!

Your mission, should you accept:

You will send 3 people a card. Any holiday or occasion. Thank you, Groundhogs Day, International Turnip Day, etc. So that we do not become too depressed at receiving a lonely Get Well Soon card with just a signature, you must also include a little letter or message. Maybe you could describe your original intention for the card, maybe you could describe your day. Maybe you could complain about the rising price of your favorite boysenberry jam at the grocery store. I don't care what you write, as long as it is lettery and reasonably fun to read. Extras are encouraged but that's up to you.

(Maybe this is a good excuse to decorate the envelope with the seasonal stickers you need to get rid of?!)

Please don't flake. Everyone will hate you.

That boysenberry jam is a good way to celebrate Int'l Turnip Day - too bad it's getting expensive... :^)

Just checking: you mean send an unwritten card & envelope in another envelope?

jaz1yn 06/16/2011 #

@rosiefsw - I think we are supposed to write on the card and send it in the original envelope. "So that we do not become too depressed at receiving a lonely Get Well Soon card with just a signature, you must also include a little letter or message. ... I don't care what you write, as long as it is lettery and reasonably fun to read."

Thank you jaz1yn! Yes, I mean that I want you to use it up by sending it out with a message written in it. I just want to get rid of mine, and I don't want any more to add to my collection! :) This is a good way to get rid of them! (And get a little letter to read in the meantime!)
