Glosses are usually gooey. A balm is solid and comes in a tub / tin or stick

Yes, lip gloss is gooey and shiny.

The heat is the only reason I am passing on this one.

I have a bag of lip balms and would love to partake in a cooler month. Perhaps the host will do this again in October.
