Description:

For this swap you should WRITE A TRUE STORY ABOUT SOMEONE WHO HAS MIGRATED from one country to another, either yourself, a family member or someone you know very well. The story should be sent to 2 partners. You may include photos and copies of documents if you wish.

The story should be AT LEAST ONE PAGE LONG and should be MORE THAN JUST BASIC FACTS about when and where it happened. For instance, write about the conditions that drove the person to leave, what he was expecting to gain, what challenges/ bureaucratic problems / embarrassments he had to go through, what transport was used, money issues and how it all turned out in the end. The migration may have taken place many decades ago or only just recently. This could be your chance to dig into the drawers and chests of your grandfather’s and speak to your father about what happened way back…or to speak to your girl/boyfriend whether s/he ever thought of leaving her/his homeland before meeting you…

You may not want to reveal the name of the person - change it then. You may hand-write or type, but note that you have 2 partners to send to.

There is almost 3 weeks time to send the story after partners are assigned.

A few more details: 1.) This is an international swap. 2.) Participants should have an average rate of 4,95. 3.) I will angel this swap. 4.) If you have any questions, please write a comment or PM me.

Half a page is not a lot for something like this... ;-)

You are right, let's make it 1 page then. Edited.

Will you do this again? Money rating is not high enough right now.

I might repeat it again in autumn. If not public, you can always get in contact with me and we do it in a private swap.
