Create a Writer's Go Kit (US)

What’s a go bag? It's that bag that's always packed and ready to go at a moment's notice. Those of us in hurricane country keep a go bag ready during storm season. But for this swap, it's all about writing.

Create a go bag or kit for your partner. It should have at least four items in it. Get some sort of bag or case (the budget-conscious can find nice ones at the dollar store) and put in it at least four different items that a writer would like to have in a go kit.

Here are some examples of things that could go inside, but this list represents things to get you thinking : pens, pencils, notepads, sticky pads, baby name book, eraser, paper, flash drive, index cards, highlighters, idea book, writing prompts, paperback dictionary or thesaurus, magazine, inspiring quotes, a mascot, etc. Use your imagination.

Since this isn't necessarily profile specific, you don't have to wait for partners to be assigned to start gathering items. But you can use your partner's profile to assist in determining what he/she may like.

Feel free to check the "Who are you, where are you and what do you write" thread on the group forum for other hints as to what your partner does.

Because this could be a bit heavy to mail, this is a USA swap. If group members want international versions, we have officers from across the globe who can post.
