Teachers, with school coming to a close it is time to start thinking about the summer and the fun things that we can do this summer! We all need a poochie bag to put our fun things in, right?! For this swap, you will... Make a summer themed poochie bag and put something that your swap partner can have fun with over the summer break. Please list in the comments a few things that you plan to do this summer to give your swap partner an idea of what might be nice to put in the bag. I shall start... This summer, I plan to sew, garden, take a few weekend trips, and lounge in the pool.

I'm going to be taking 2 classes this summer to earn my specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I hope to go to the beach, work in the garden, and do an enormous amount of crafting- sewing, crocheting, embroidering. And spending a lot of time with my grand boy.

This summer I plan to re-start work on my dissertation (probably...ok, maybe), garden, make preserves from the fruit we grow, and craft, craft, craft (sewing, knitting, embroidery/cross-stitch)!!! I am also hoping to take a few weekend trips and learn to quilt...

Let's see, these are some of the things I plan on: reading, sewing, crafting, spending time w/my niece & nephew, pool/beach time, swap-botting (hehe), gardening, relaxing with some good wine, going to a few concerts at my favorite place (The Hollywood Bowl), watching F1. Hopefully some 4 day trips somewhere on the west coast w/the hubby. Hm, I will also be doing summer school in August but maybe I shouldn't think about that right now??? ;)

Poochie bags are cute lined bags with a pocket on the front and back. The bags can be flat or have milk carton corners.

I want to do a lot this summer, but mostly beach time with hubby and Madison, make a quilt, finish my craft room (ugg), see my out of state family members, lots and lots of crafts and SLEEP IN!!!

WOW really cute idea! Having just finish teacher's college I really have been drawn to some of the teacher's swaps here. Although I wish I had a sewing machine to do this (the one I have here is antique and I don't want to ruin it!) - Might have to invest in getting one soon and learning!
