This is a Fun & Easy Swap.For those of us who like snapping pictures.All you need is a CAMERA & YOUR IMAGINATION. Pictures should be at least 4x6, sent to your partner in an envelope.Please send your partner the swap in good condition. With pictures you should secure your envelope around the edges with tape.Sometimes your envelope has a long hard trip.And the envelope may get torn in transit. .Please remember to enclose your note.ALSO to write on the backs of each photo.

You'll need to take four photos.Choose from the list below. After you have taken your pictures.Please write a nice note what inspired you to take the photo's . Write on the back of each photo, from which subject , FROM the list it is. EXAMPLE:Lets say the picture is of a strawberry. Write on the back of photo.Something that is the "color red" - .

NOW LET,S GET STARTED

Since this is a low cost swap. I am leaving it open to International.That is as far as postage & printing goes. No flaker's please. I will check profiles for recent no sends. And you will be dropped. Newbies are welcome.

Ready set go.With a digital camera & a good printer.Your ready to go in a snap. Although a digital camera it is not required for this swap.

If your printing at home. Please use photo paper to do your printing.Otherwise use your camera & printing place of your choice. Here are two I know that are good, snapfish.com, shutterfly.com Please have your photo prints at least printer to 4x6 picture. Please Note: As long as you have a photograph you had in the past.You can still use it for this swap.Just be sure the print is in like new condition and you snapped the shot yourself. This swap is all about sharing common creative interests of photography.Lets have fun.Please be sure if you signed on to this swap you will have time to follow through.

Hi....I'd like to request that more photo categories be added to the list. Like, how about something green or something blue? Perhaps a flower or an insect....maybe a large animal...what about a macro shot or a landscape or a panoramic wide angle? For example, I have a shot of a bus though it's not one of my better photos, and ditto the street sign. Thanks for your consideration.

ohhh i just had to sign up for this one too :) emma.. the point is that its like a scavenger hunt, the organiser gives us the themes, we pick some we like.. im sure therell be more in this series :) (hint hint at shells ;) )

A door,A photo with four legs,A body of water,A tree or trees,Something old,A flower or flowers,Something Nature,Feet,An old house or barn,Something that is the color red,Your family pet,A postal box. For each New Swap I will add different things we can photograph.As long as we have swappers signed on to swap.I would like to continue hosting them.

I think an idea would be to have a list like 4 differnt flowers all the same color. or a list of still life objects. or a whole list that all pictures be taken with the same color theme. Like a red house, a red door, a red flower... etc

Do people object to photographs being 'photoshopped', E.g. to remove something annoying from the background, or to add a special effect such as making it sepia coloured? Personally I think that sort of thing improves a photo, but I understand that some people are purists who beleive that the image should not be tampered with... Any thoughts or guidelines about this?

Sure why not. Now when rating partners, fellow swappers please keep in in mind... As long as the swap specs, are met.. Such explained in swap description above.That's all it takes to Rate a 5.

This should be a good swap.All about senders choice. Hope I cleared up the questions here. Thjs swap gives the swapper a lot of freedom, to be creative. And it is not based at all on the partners profile.

Is it okay to write on the FRONT of the photos? I hope so because I"m having fun with printed text on the front of the pics. Also should we send one of each picture as in 1 door pic 1 tree pic etc? not 3 of the same type pic? just wondering...

...Four photos from the list.Meaning send four photos that are picked from the list. Sample: tree or trees count as 1, cow counts as 2, street sign would be your 3rd. & let say for your 4th, chose to photograph a horse.Now that is picking 4 things from the list as stated above.To take four photo's of 4 street signs or of 4 cows.Is not picking four things from the list to photograph.The requirements would have not met for this swap. Four photo of one of each from the list is whats required.Sure hope I helped to clear that up a bit for. Have a great day,

Hi fellow swappers....I have been holidng off on sending anything because I don't know how many of you are aware that Canada is up for a postal strike...they've submitted their 72 hour notice and tomorrow at midnight is the deadline it they don't come to an agreement, and so far its not lookin good. I heard something about a rotation but don't know any details on it because they are being sooo hush hush about it. Anyway, i just wanted to suggest that when it comes time to rate your partner, please check to see if your partner is in Canada, if they are and you have not recieved your mail yet, please consider that there may be a strike I will post another comment tomorrow, when I hear whats is happening with Canada Post.

I sent my envie yesterday, the 10th, but forgot to click SEND until now. I'm in the Vancouver area of Canada and so far the postal workers are not on strike in our area. They are rotating and are still not gone on strike yet on the West Coast. I hope my envie reaches my partner without any delay.

OK, I have heard we may have a few swappers who did not click sent. Sure hope they are not going to flake. I am well aware of the postal issue in Canada. But it seems the swappers are not all from Canada. I will send messages to these swappers over the long weekend. And if I do not hear back from them. I would advise partners TO rate this swap per. swap bot rules. Please refer to the rules . Also please shoot me an message on here to let me know if in fact you were flaked. I will add the flakers to the list.And also ban them from future swaps I host. Thank You all for your help. We need to stick to the rules and rate fairly.This is the only way to rid swaps of the poor swappers.Have a great weekend.
