Description:

I come to an idea to cut a common shape postcard into a special shape by ourselves. Find a store bought postcard and try your best to cut it into a different shape. (I feel maybe it will be better if you find a bigger card because it will be smaller after you cut it. But it's not required. Just up to you.) Postcard theme is sendor's choice. Naked or in an envelope, written or unwritten are both sendor's choice. Be sure that people still can see what picture(s) on the card originally after you cut it. And remember that "it still have to be a postcard", so , don't cut it toooooooooooo tiny.

Please don't join if you have no time to cut the card. No flackers. Newbies welcome.

I work at the post office and I just want to let people know that, once a postcard no longer has square edges, it can't go through the machine. So it is considered a non-machinable letter, and will be charged a 20 cent surcharge (so 28 cents plus another 20 cents). This is only a problem if you send the postcard naked. If you send it in an envelope, it's no problem. The regular 44 cent stamp will do.

And there are also minimum size requirements for a piece of mail to be sent. So don't cut your card too tiny, or else you will have to mail it in an envelope. Sorry to put the kabosh on everyone's fun. :(
