Description:

I recently made a Voodoo Doll for another group swap and really loved it. It gave me an idea for another swap so I am inviting you to join me.

You will make your partner 1 Voodoo Doll from Junk. Fabric which you might have otherwise thrown out, bits too small to use sewn together, an odd sock (cheesy foot smells removed prior to sewing).

The size should be no smaller than 6", but as large as you like, although remember this is international. She should then be decorated with junk too, although this does not mean stuff that is falling apart. I mean, broken jewellery, random bits of kids toys, buttons, hair accesories. Use your imagination to make something really rockin' from bits and pieces of junk. We all hate junk dont we? make good use of it and send your partner something amazing and WELL MADE from your bits and peices of random stuff.

This is a great opportunity to use the strange and unusual items that we all keep for 'that rainy day'.
Please make sure that all your items are clean and will not damage or hurt the recipient. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. This is a no spend swap other than shipping, so have fun.

Pins for your banishing Voodoo Doll are an optional extra!

Blessed Be fellow witches, let the junk be banished to make this world cleaner and greener.

I am considering joining. Mine will have to be all hand sewn-I don't own a sewing machine. Sounds like fun.

There are loads of different ways to make voodoo dolls, including wrapping string round a small stick, it might be worth having a look on the internet if you didn't want to sew it. Although you would probably need to do some to some sewing to attach you junk.x

I'd love to have a go at this altho I've never made one. Wouldn't know where to start though...does anyone have hints as to where I can get some kind of pattern???

@mooncrab sorry I can't do a link, but just copy and paste this into your browser. it's a downloadable PDF, but if you know how you could resize it if you want.
