Calling all chunky page newbies

I really want to join a chunky page swap but I am still too new to the craft and do not want to disappoint my more experienced chunky page swap partners so this swap is designed for newbies like me to build their confidence.

This will be a series swap and the theme is Candy. here is the order of pages

• chocolate
• ice cream
• rock candies or stick of rock
• jelly candies
• bubble gum
• cakes and cupcakes and
• wild card (your favorite treat.eg, jellybeans, lolly pops, glace fruits, candyfloss, cookies, jello or a mix of all of them.) ( the cover page is up to your to make)

Lets make one very yummy book that looks good enough to eat. The size is 5x5 and please space your embellishments at least a half an inch away from the edges for binding. Some ideas are sticking clean wrappers from the sweets, magazine cut outs, chunky embellishments, fotos or sweet shop receipts. Lets think outside of the box.

• please do not use edible components on the page, Lets make it a little archival.
• page must be chunky.
• one page per month, you do not have to sign up for all of them but more people mean a bigger variety
• No punched holes .
• Only one side needs to be decorated although the other side may be nicely decorated too if you wish.
• details must be on the underside of your page (date, your name, page name, country/state, and any other info you would like to include)
• Please spend some time on your page.Only send out what you would be proud to receive.Yes this is for newbies but there is no excuse to rush your work.
• Please make sure pages are thoroughly dried out and aired before mailing.
• Page must be made from stiff cardstock.
• Please read the do's and don't's of making a chunky page in the forums before sending out.

The *Nitty Gritty is just there to help us newbs out so that we are more prepared for a chunky page swap and is in no way intended for stifling your creativity. More experienced chunky page swappers are encouraged to join to help us and offer constructive criticism.

This swap is intended for CHUNKY PAGE newbies but regular newbies need at least five type 3 swaps under their belt. I will check profiles before assigning partners and will message you if need be. Lets make this fun for everyone in the swap. There is a loooong sign up and send off date so there is more than enough time to make something nice.
