Altered Tea Box Swap

The Tea Box: A wooden box of suitable size (tea box, cigar box, etc), Embellished and Altered to be a very special container of tea (individually wrapped assorted teas) and tea accessories--tea ball, strainer, tea towel, recipes for tea breads, biscuits, cake, etc., your choice). The main thing is the art on and in the box, If you can't afford a lot of tea and accessories, don't worry, but hearts rest in the details!

There are Flat Rate boxes available at the post office that could fit a nice box full of goodies for less than $9 Priority postage, so check there before choosing your wooden box to be sure it will fit.

I realize the working period falls over Thanksgiving and before Christmas, but not everyone celebrates these holidays, and not everyone is so busy, but there is still over a month if you plan well you can do it! Do take into consideration that this will be the busiest mailing time of the year though, and packages may arrive late, so get delivery confirmation, insure the package, communicate with your partners, and be kind in rating.

There will be a month or more between sign up and mailing, so take the time to check out your partner's profile to personalize the box. Make it something you'd be proud to display on your tea table!

Restrictions: You must have a 4.9+ rating to join this swap. Sorry, no newbies for this swap, but I may do it again in January.

No no-sends, and if you have a slightly lower rating but have a good explanation, you can write to convince me, and references also help. Write to me well in advance of the deadline, or you'll have no chance. I'll be checking the sign up list after the deadline for questionable swappers to protect the reliable ones, so sign up early if you want to play!

Do Not Sign Up if you can't totally commit to sending your tea box. I'm stressing the importance of completing this swap because it's been an issue lately, and I don't want any of us to get burned!
