Postcards from Middle Earth - #1 - The Old Forest

The Journey Begins for Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin and like most travelers they want to collect souvenirs. Since postcards are lightweight, we are going to do a series of Postcards from Middle Earth.

The first in the series will be the Old Forest, which includes such highlights as Old Man Willow, Tom Bombadil, Goldberry and the Barrowdowns.

We will make for our partner one postcard from the Old Forest. This can hand-drawn by you, collage art, a picture you found that you have altered, a page from the Fellowship of the Ring that you have embellished. Other than the ban on stickers being used for more than minimal accents, you are free to use any medium and any materials you choose.

Please take the time and make the effort to make something that you, yourself would like to receive.

We will be sending these in envelopes so nothing gets ripped or mangled in the mail.

This swap will be newbie friendly and if you have any recent 3's or any unexplained 1's please contact me and we can discuss the situation. I will ensure that the send date on these swaps will be a Monday, which gives you the weekend before to finish up and get it out the door, which should prevent any need for late sending. While I will angel swaps if necessary, I will also let you know up front, while I understand that life happens to all of us and can be a fairly understanding, tolerant person, I will have a zero flake policy, so plan accordingly when signing up for swaps.
