Description:

For this swap you will make one reusable bag for one partner that is at least sammie size, but can be bigger. Sender's choice as to the design, material and theme. Please check out our forum for ideas on fabric bags, plastic/paper collage bags, etc;I know there a gazillion ideas out there. This does not have to be profile specific because the idea is to create a bag that can be passed person to person to enclose our swaps. If by chance you get a bag that is so dear to your heart that you can't bear to give it up, please keep recycling the baggies you get in other swaps. Thanks!

I've been crocheting plastic carrier bags and acrylic yarn into larger bags, but if i were to make the strips thinner they would make great little baggie's, would this be ok? also I could pick an awesome acrylic yarn that has been recycled to add a bit of colour. thanks emma

This might be a silly question, but what is sammie size baggie?

misscorbeau 03/21/2011 #

not silly! It is a sandwich size baggie. there are size specifics on the forum that @dmarie posted.

misscorbeau 03/21/2011 #

hese are approximate sizes for baggies

the sandwich size = 6.5 inches by 6.5 inches

the quart size = 9 inches by 7 inches

the gallon size = 12 inches by 10 1/2 inches
