Letter and an ATC Swap Please do not join if you have any 1s you cannot explain. I'll be checking profiles. Contact me first. I can angel if someones partner flakes. You must be willing to put in time and effort and have some crafting skills to join this swap. You will send your partner a letter and an ATC that you spent time on and are proud to send out. Something your partner will enjoy. You will be assigned 1 partner. Your letter should be interesting for your partner to read, maybe on nice paper or decorated with stickers or markers, and it should be decent length, not just "Hello from Me". The topic is open (write about you, how you got into making atcs, where you live, what other crafts you like, etc.) Have fun!!

I am a newbie. Please explain what an ATC is, how they are made, etc... I am confused.

An ATC is an Artist Trading Card. You should use Google Image or Flikr to see examples. They are traded among Artists.

They measure 2.5 x 3.5 and they are on sturdy cardstock or thin cardboard. You decorate the front creatively. On the back you list the Title, Artist, Date, and WebSite or other info.

Fun as in: colorful, decorated, nice paper, interesting to read, special.

Not just: "Hi, I'm so and so and this is your ATC. "

Can this be a hand drawn ATC or is an embellished ATC required? I prefer to make illustrations/drawings on ATC's, so I want to know if that is OK?

I think a hand drawn ATC is fine. If you're really good at drawing and that's your style then go for it :)
