Christmas music makes me happy. I especially love the Reggae Christmas, Ren and Stimpy Christmas, and James Brown Christmas not-what-you'd-expect-from-Currier-and-Ives style music. Does your collection include holiday music you wouldn't necessarily hear at Grandma's? Make a playlist of 12-15 Christmas songs that just make your holiday complete. Include a track listing, and holiday cover art is a bonus. Please upload pictures of the cool stuff you receive to the gallery, so we can all oooh and aaah over the glorious bounty of off-kilter Christmas tunes (or at least your cover art). And the last day to send date is early enough that we can all enjoy our new holiday music. And hey, people -- don't sign up if you're not going to play. I got severly hosed on a recent swap I hosted (2 of my 3 partners didn't send), so if you have a history of not sending, I will ban you.

Do any participants mind if I bump the number of partners up to 3? I was afraid that there weren't going to be enough, but now ... What do you guys think?

I think I have THE best collection of Holiday tunes so I'll gladly share! Mine will probably include some of the more traditional type as well.

I came to pick up my addresses for this swap and discovered that we are suddenly supposed to be sending to three people, not two. It would've been a whole lot nicer if we'd been contacted with this information. My third person will be getting a plain CD in a plain envelope. My second and third people will be getting them much later than I'd planned, because I'll need to use one of the copies to make another one.

Wow - I received from 2 of my partners already. (I'm still new to swap-bot and don't know how to get their e-mail addresses since I only received the info for the people I send to). So, I'll thank them here:

J. Summers (no user name listed) sent a great mix of traditional and fun music

and Sarah (again no user name listed) sent a really fun mix of some indie/alt, some classic and some twists on xmas music. I was especially happy with the Asylum Street Spankers because I misplaced my version of their holiday CD years ago.

I'm new to swapping as well and, like indigokat, wasn't sure how to get to the emails. So far... many thanks to Jill for the fun Cd - it's so cool, I want to drink martinis while listening. And many thanks to Cori also for the playful tunes, even a couple of Hanukah songs! I've been pushing the season and started listening to both immediately. Katie
