Treasures of Mzansi

Hola beautiful people of mzansi! Okay, so we all love to complain about the crime, corruption and just about every crappy thing about this country, but secretly there is no place we would rather be. For as many reasons I have to complain about South Africa, there are double the amount of things I love about her. There are so many groups for different themes, but how many of them glorify and pay homage to the 'mother land'? Lets celebrate our culture and revel in it's beauty by creating 'mini postcards' of our country. This will be a series swap so by the end of it we will have a mini map, if you will, of our country. We will have one swap per month until our collection is complete.

As we all have our own style, hopefully the collection will be as diverse as this country. We cannot all be De Vinci's so collaging, digital, sketches ....anything goes! Just make something you would be proud to receive, that's all.

******************Nitty gritty********************** Atc's must be the regulatory size, No chunky embellishments, or at least flat ones so they can slide into a folder *You may put the name of the province on the front if you like *Regular details on the back * Each swap will be introduced on the 10th of each month, sign up will end on the 20th and will be sent out by the end of the month.I hope this is more than enough time for you to create your mini master piece.

Okay, now that that is out of the way let's begin. We shall go in alphabetical order starting with the eastern cape and ending with western cape and hopefully if all goes well we can do a introduction card with 'simply South Africa' or 'treasures of mzansi' For the first swap create one atc for one partner symbolizing what eastern cape represents to you. You can do a landmark or famous dish, a mini map, famous national parks, just anything typical of the eastern cape. I am looking forward to this swap and I hope you do too.
