I hosted a swap like this back in the spring, and I think it's time for another one. I may do these monthly if there seems to be enough interest. I never really minded doing book reports in school. Writing about what you've read can be fun! So I imagine this swap as a kind of grown-up book report. Write your partner a letter, at least one page long, about what book (or books) you've been reading lately. How you ended up reading what you're reading, what you liked and didn't like, what you learned, what it reminds you of, whether you recommend it... Enclose a bookmark (I'm thinking something simple and handmade or a cute freebie from the library, etc., so that this can be a zero-spending swap) for your partner's next reading venture. Newbies are welcome with a filled-out profile. | |
