Description:

Okay, so the postcard itself doesn't need to be from the 19th century, but it does need to depict something related to the time period between 1800 and 1899! For instance, it could be a postcard of a 19th century painting, sculpture, building, person; these are just examples--as long as it has a clear connection to the 19th century, it'll work.

You will have 3 partners and you will send each partner 1 card. Your postcards can be commercially produced or homemade. Please remember to include your swapbot alias and/or your real name, as well as the name of the swap, on each card. If your chosen card's connection to the 19th century isn't obvious, please explain it on the card. Otherwise, what you write is up to you, but here are some possible topics: you could say why you chose the card, you could explain a little bit about the history behind the subject, you could write something about the 19th century in general, or you could give a favorite quotation from a 19th century source.

Other details: 1) Newbies with completed profiles are welcome. 2) Swappers with a rating lower than 4.8 (rounded to the tenth) will be dropped before partners are assigned. 3) For this swap it's alright to send a handmade card in an envelope to protect it. 4) This is an international swap.
