Description:

FOR AUSSIE / NZ SWAPPERS ONLY

Heading back to school after the holidays isn't fun for most children, so I've come up with a swap that will have them looking forward to Term 1!

You will fill a New small lunch box (at least sandwich sized) or even a wide mouthed drink bottle with things that a child would love. Spend at least $7 including the container (not incl postage) There are lots of 'back to school' sales on so it should be easy to find things. Kmart has small containers for less than $2

The swap is to be addressed to the child who is receiving it, so leave the childs name below, along with their age. You may want to leave a few likes such as favourite colour etc but ultimately it is senders choice and NOT profile specific. Having said that, please send age appropriate items. A 14 year old boy will not appreciate Dora stickers;)

Swappers must have a 4.85 & higher rating with no recent 1's or unexplainable 3's. Newbies with a very well filled out profile may join.

Remember this is for children - DO NOT FLAKE ON THEM.

Ideas:

  • Stationary: pens, pencils, crayons, erasers, sharpener etc

  • stickers, book labels

  • bookmarks, small book, puzzle book

  • notebook

  • lunchbox recipes

  • hair elastics, clips

  • sport related items

  • If your child can write, it would be nice to include a small note.

  • Be creative. It doesn't necessarily have to be something they would use at school.

This is my first time organising a swap. I wasn't planning on doing one so early, but it was either now or wait another year for this one. Please let me know if I've overlooked anything. Thanks to @magicjessnrach for her help and hopefully we can get a few more Aussie / NZ swaps happening.

My daughter Chloe is aged 9 - there are a few of her interests on my profile if you need help with ideas.

Looks like fun but I will sit this one out too. That 14 year old boy you mentioned loves his cellphone more than lunch. Lol. But if you ever want to do a similar swap for stay at home ,or out and about ,(adult, just not grown up)crafters, let me know.

Great swap idea but no kids here either. That's why I have enough time for swap-bot. ;) Good on you though for jumping right in. I've waited 1.5 yrs!

my daughter Anisha is aged 7, loves any kind of stationary, favourite colour is yellow, orange or red. she likes stickers. Anisha has a little section on my profile if you would like to visit.

Thanks for the support everyone. I'll keep 'adults' in mind if I think another one up.

@fairypretty7 - if you do decide to join up you will need to click on 'join swap' because as far as I can see it's still just me so far;)
