Description:

Every year, around this time and right on through to at least February I spend my time wondering what other people's Christmas' are like, what Christmas means to them.

So, I thought I'd create a swap where you can share your traditions, recipes, favourite Christmas music etc. etc.

You'll have one partner who you will send a small package, with (at least 5) small items resembling or detailing what Christmas means to you. Like, I'm a big traditionalist, so I'd probably include a 5pence piece resembling the tradition of putting silver into Christmas Puds. There are an endless amount of things that you could include, but here are a few ideas:

A tree ornament
Recipes
Mix CD of music
Post cards or Christmas cards
Christmas stockings
Badges/Buttons
Pictures
Magazine cut outs
Small trinket items (like a little model of the little drummer boy, or santa)

Remember they don't have to be the actual things (please, no turkeys) but things resembling them. Like a picture of a Fir tree, etc. etc. If you're going to send food, please remember to check the customs guidelines for the country you are sending to (here is a helpful forum link: http://www.swap-bot.com/forums/topic/310).

Items can be handmade - let your imagination run away with you. Also, please remember to include a letter (in English) detailing why you have chosen these items, what they mean to you and your culture and what they represent. If you're going to aim for hearts, send a little more, a little something extra that your partner will love, wrap them up in christmas paper or put them in a stocking. The possibilities are endless!

Also (and I realise this description is getting rather long) if you do not celebrate christmas, do not hesitate to join! Relish in the oppurtunity to educate others about your traditions, culture and religion at this special time of year.

This swap IS international, as the shipping can be relatively cheap - just be careful about what you choose to represent if you're worried about shipping. Also, it's only open to swappers with a rating of 4.5 and above. Ratings CANNOT be all online ratings, the more postal the better - however I'm going to allow a long sign up time so you should be able to get a few more ratings in. No exceptions, although if you're fighting a bad rating please do not hesitate to message me and I'll see what I can do.

Please only send items of a quality you would wish to receive yourself (I'm allowing a long prep time so handmade things can be made and alot of care can be put into this swap), and don't forget to rate once you've received your package!

p.s I'm sorry for any typos
