Description:

Well, I am always looking for partners for private swaps. But this time, I decided to create a public swap for this, as I know a lot of swap-botters like chocolate and try different kinds of it!

Here is the requirements to join this swap:
- You must have at least 5 type 3 swaps rated;
- You mustn't have 3's or recent 1's. If you do have a 3, send a PM explaining what happened. If it's a recent 1, sorry but you won't be part of this swap this time;
- You must have joined at least in October - no newbies allowed as this is a BIG swap;

About the swap:
- You will have ONE partner;
- You will leave in comments your preferences about chocolate (only milk, only dark, with or without nuts, fruits, and so on);
- You will have to spent at least U$20, not including shipping;
- You will have 20 days to buy everything and send your package;

PLEASE NOTICE THAT THIS IS AN INTERNATIONAL SWAP!
You might get a partner from the other side of the globe, so shipping can be a little expensive!

Please try to match your partner's profile. You can send the chocolates in a box or bubble package, but try to wrap everything so it won't reach its destination in pieces.

------> This can be edited as I notice that something is missing from its description! Please let me know if there's any doubts or info to include here!! :)

------> Edited: from two partners to only one, but spending U$20 instead of U$15!

Can it be 1 partner? 30 dollars before postage is too much.

Morgaine 12/28/2010 #

I am curious why people always try to make requests as to things to change about swaps. If 30 dollars is too much for you, then don't join the swap. It really could not be much more simple than that!

daarhon 12/28/2010 #

@Morgaine I'm curious why people still are curious about people. :) Many coordinators heed participant's advice. I coordinated a few swaps and found it useful when people write something like 'I'd join this if...'. There can be people who think 30 USD it's too expensive, too. @fepamplona can listen to my advice or not, it's her rule.

daarhon 12/28/2010 #

It's her right, not rule. Mistyped. Sorry.

naturenerd3 12/28/2010 #

I agree.... I would prefer 1 partner only since postage is so much.

fepamplona 12/28/2010 #

And what about one partner, but U$20? Then I think it would be a BIG package anyway! Let me know, so we can arrange that! :)

daarhon 12/29/2010 #

@fepamplona for me 20 USD and 1 partner are great requirements :)

daarhon 12/30/2010 #

Thank you! I will join closer to signup date.

leilx 12/30/2010 #

Can you include homemade as part of it? I make excellent truffles, for example.

leilx 12/30/2010 #

One other question: is it supposed to be chocolate bars, or, if you can do homemade, super chocolaty sweet things like cookies or brownies?

fepamplona 12/31/2010 #

It can be homemade chocolate or brownies, but no cookies allowed! :)

This sounds like a great swap. I can't wait until I can take part in a swap like this, I am a newbie.

I love milk chocolate with nuts !

leilx 01/13/2011 #

I have a recipe for chocolate cookies that will knock your socks off, but unfortunately does not travel so well.

anyway, I like most kinds of chocolate, but I tend towards dark over milk. I don't love fruit in chocolate, but will eat it on occasion. I like nuts. I don't mind adventurous chocolate, like with chilis, but please don't send me anything really wierd like chocolate with bacon.

fepamplona 01/13/2011 #

YAY! I'm glad you are joining us!

Jester777 01/14/2011 #

Ahhhhhh I really want to join! Haha, but I'm nervous about the shipping.. ah well, I think I shall take the dive! :D

I love all types of chocolate, but least of all dark. I enjoy fruit and nuts, truffles and especially love green tea varieties if you can find them! Also love tea and coffee infused chocolate, and lavender chocolate, yummmm!

Glad that homemade is allowed, I make amazing chocolate bark! :D

fepamplona 01/14/2011 #

Oh well, I forgot to include what I like!

Here goes: I love milk chocolate. With any kind of nut, red fruits, caramel, cherries, crisps, cookies...I also like white chocolate. I love Cadbury, M&Ms, Nestlé, Milka, Kinder, any of these great chocolate brands. No, you don't have to get me these brands, is just a "guide"! ;)

I don't like dark chocolate at all. You can send me a small one so my boyfriend can have it, but for me, no thanks. I also don't like coffee, no "adventurous" as @leilx said. If there's any doubt left, just PM me and I will gladly answer!!

daarhon 01/14/2011 #

I prefer dark chocolate but milk chocolate is ok, too. Please no coffee/mint/licorice/camomile flavors for me. If you want to send homemade sweets please remember the distance to my country. Your chocolate not necessarily will but it may travel for 2-3 months. If you are absolutely sure your sweets will survive I don't mind to receive something homemade :)
