Description:

Did you receive a Christmas card that really wasn't your style or that you plain just didn't like? You appreciate the thought, but it really isn't something that you want to save? If you do... then join this swap! Newbies are welcome and encouraged to join, but no flakers! No recent unexplained 1's or 3's or nosends, I will be checking profiles. I will also angel if necessary.

This swap is going to be a postcard you create by simply cutting the card in half at the fold, and then using the blank side on the back where the printed picture is as a postcard. Everyone will have one partner and you can send the created postcard either naked or in an envelope if the front of the card has some sort of glued on decoration or glitter or something. On your card you can write your partner a message about yourself, or tell them why you didn't like the card, but be nice, in case the person you are sending it to likes it.

This will be a quick swap since the Christmas season is about to be over and the cards are about to come down off display.

I know that everyone appreciates every card they get, and this is not meant in anyway to be disrespectful, but just something fun to do with all of your old Christmas cards that you are probably going to throw away anyways.

This is my first ever time as a swap coordinator so any suggestions on this swap would be great!

You have done a wonderful job describing the swap dear!

I would suggest that you set some kind of criteria for who can join. For example, are newbies with full profiles welcome? Do you have to have a minimum rating to join? What about people with 1 and 3 ratings? Good swappers always look for some assurance from a swap host that they are going to screen participants to hopefully minimize the chance of flakers getting into their swaps. There is no way to make a swap bullet-proof, but doing the best you can to weed out problem swappers is always appreciated!

Good luck! (";)

I think that it is a great idea.

@ TerryF: I just updated that and added in a few things at the end of the paragraph. Thanks for reminding me, I thought about it after I created the swap and just now realized I needed to put that in there! Thanks!
