Can't get enough aprons? Me either! Need another excuse to go to the thriftstore? Me too! This is a monthly International Thriftstore Apron Swap. This one is for the month of January Here's how it's goin' down... You will have one partner. You will send one apron that you found at the thriftstore. Since this is for the month of January (AND IT'S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH!) We will send our partner an apron with a "Something Sweet" theme. So you will find aprons with cupcakes or birthday cakes or gingerbread men etc. on it. Since the theme is general...you can shop now! REMEMBER IF YOU CAN'T FIND AN APRON WITH THIS THEME...YOU CAN ALWAYS BUY AN APRON from the thriftstore THEN EMBELLISH IT! :) the fine print: International Swap. You must have at least a 4.8 to swap. No resent no sends, 1's nor 3's. Send expediently, rate immediately and swap happily!

Welcome all the the International Thriftstore Apron Swaps! Hope you'll stick around for the whole year and collect "twelve" aprons! (I absolutely TWIRL at the thought!) :)

While you're in your travels for Christmas, be on the look out for aprons to match upcoming themes. For instance, on my way to find a Christmas thrift swap present, I found two Thanksgiving aprons! Will be saving those for the November 2011 swap!

I will try to post at least two or three ahead of time so you'll know the future monthly themes.

If signing up, but then not managing to find an apron at the thriftstore, is it okay to sew an apron from thrifted fabric (I'm good at sewing)?

Marianenita...just explain to your partner that you couldn't find one at your local thriftstore. I'm sure your partner will be delighted to get one straight from your heart! :)
