Description:
Everyone has thought of things they wanted to say to someone but never did. In this swap, you will say them... to your partner. Write a letter addressed to someone in your life you cannot or did not say something important to. Examples: a secret love, a goodbye you never said, a secret you couldn't tell, a rant at someone you hated but had to pretend to get along with, an explanation you just couldn't find words for at the time, etc. This will be the letter you would send them if there would be no consequences, or if you could have back an opportunity to speak which you missed. Please make this at least two full size pages (hand written or typed) This means one page front and back. If you want to use smaller letter paper you can use more pages. Including messages to two different people is an option if you need help filling the space. Include a note or write on the envelope which swap it is for and your user name because this will not be part of the actual letter. The point of this is to let go of some of the things trapped in our heads but in order to respect the privacy of your partners don't write anything publicly on their profile that refers specifically to the contents of the letter, just send a pm to discuss. Edit: Although this could take the form of a kind of confession, we do have to be careful of offending people. If your idea for this letter includes anything explicitly violent or sexual please hold off on writing it until partners are assigned so you can message them and ask if that's ok, and have another idea ready just in case. As a general guideline: rants are fine, swearing is fine, racism, sexism and hatred directly towards any religion or group of people is not. If this goes well I'll consider having an 'uncensored' version, but for now let's play it safe. If you really want to write something now and your partner is more sensitive you can go ahead and write it and I'm open to doing a private swap. This is open to newbies with a decent profile and anyone else with 4.7+

This is definitely a swap that I'm interested in. However, I don't want to have to worry about offending whoever's going to read the letter. I mean...I'd probably be mentioning some of the things that have happened to me, and they are violent and sexual in nature, so would that not be able to be included?

@Apollo maybe you would have someone else to address a letter to, so you could participate ... or when partners are assigned, you can ask your partner if she/he is ok with this kind of letter too, if not, stick with the someone else you wanted to write to ;)

I like this swap a lot, I did one myself and joined a few similar ones a few months ago. It is so good to get these things out and righ now, exactly what I need! :)

Thank you for being open to newbies!!! I do love this idea! Only wish I could join this twice, as I have ALOT of things to get off my chest :) Not all bad, just need to let some things go. And how exciting to share the good, the bad and the ugly with (hopefully) no consequences!

I've assigned partners!

I'm happy to see so much interest in this; I also feel like I have more than one letter that needs writing so if this goes well I'll probably have a round two up when it's finished.

I know this is the holidays and I'm allowing nebwies but this is no excuse to flake! If you must send late please keep in contact with both me and your partner about it and I'm sure we'll both understand. If you don't receive something please let me know. I will angel if necessary.
