Description:

Super-simple - one partner, one random storebought postcard of your choice! Easy peasy, right?

If you'd like, take a look at your partner's profile and choose something you think they might like. This is NOT mandatory, however - it's completely sender's choice.

No handmade or ad cards, please - store-bought only. Cards are to be sent naked (stamped and NOT in an envelope), with a little note hand-written to your partner on the back. (If you are physically unable to hand-write, then I of course understand!) And I can't believe I have to add this next point, but please DO NOT use my postcard swaps as a means to advertise your store. It's completely different from including a business card in a package swap, in my opinion.

Please remember to include the swap name and your username on the postcard, so your partner knows who to thank and rate!

I will be checking profiles before partners are assigned. Newbies with a well-filled out profile are welcome - everyone starts somewhere!

If you flake on one of my swaps (and you won't, right?), I will eat you. Okay, not really - first, I'm a vegan, and second, if you are what you eat, the last thing I want to be is a flaker! Seriously though, I will name and shame and you will never be allowed in my (or many other people's, I'm sure) swaps again.

Please don't forget to rate your partner!

Any questions, please ask! :)

I love your easy-peasy pc swaps!!! :)

Marryth 11/30/2010 #

Thank you! :) I love postcard swaps, but generally don't join when they involve sending to 3+ partners - that's $3+ here at best, and it adds up fast. I'm all for easy-peasy (especially at this time of the year!), and I'm glad to see that others are too! ;)

I will be joining when it gets closer to the due date, for now its on watch.

Andwere the same way too, we like to make our swaps for 1 partner only. I just dont like my swappers to have to spend alot of money if they dont want too.

Yay for breaking into the top five of the Top Swaps list! How high can we get it? :D

sharingink 12/13/2010 #

This will be my first swap and I am looking forward to sending and receiving my postcard. -there is just something nice about getting mail in the mail box -esp since it happens so rarely now days :-) .

Marryth 12/13/2010 #

Welcome, @sharingink :) I absolutely love sending and receiving postcards - happy mail is so much nicer than bills or admail! ;)

Thanks for doing a random post card swap. While I like themed post cards, I live in a postcard wasteland making some themed swaps hard for me to join unless they can be handmade.

Marryth 12/19/2010 #

I understand completely, mommaviv - I'm thankful to Pomegranate orders for keeping me stocked up. :)

mommaviv 12/19/2010 #

Wow! Thanks for turning me on to Pomegranate.....I know what I'm buying for myself after the holidays!

maggie16 12/20/2010 #

could you possibly post a link to Pomegranate?

Marryth 12/21/2010 #

Sure can: http://pomegranate.stores.yahoo.net/salesalesale.html

The jumbo postcard packs are awesome! :) Great variety at a price that can't be beat.

annienia 12/21/2010 #

The postcard gets sent naked? Without even underwear? What if it's going somewhere cold? Okay, kidding aside, what the heck does that mean?

maggie16 12/21/2010 #

It means the PC is to be written on, stamped and sent without an envelope, just how postcards are meant to be sent! Hope that helps! =D

maggie16 12/21/2010 #

btw, @ Marryth - thanks heaps for the link! =D

MindyUSA 12/21/2010 #

wow! Amazing turnout in this swap!

handmade2 12/22/2010 #

Appreciate the link for pomegranate pcs, I will definitely order jumbo pc packs after the holidays.

O sent my card weeks ago and I have no ratings yet. How can I get the partners to rate me?

Marryth 12/27/2010 #

@fawnscrafts - Weeks ago? You marked sent on the 24th (and partners were only assigned ~1 week ago), and with the holidays, I doubt it's arrived to your partner yet. :)

Marryth 01/ 3/2011 #

To those who haven't sent/haven't marked sent yet - please get your postcards out ASAP! If you have a problem, please let me (and your partner) know!

To those who should be receiving from those who haven't yet sent - if your partner straight-up doesn't send, I will send you a postcard. Just giving them a little more time and hoping they do the right thing/just needed a little more time!

alliegower 01/13/2011 #

I just wanted to let you know that I did send a postcard the week of Christmas. I hope it's arrived. I look forward to receiving mine. Have a great day!
