Swap Coordinator:Apollo (contact)
Swap categories: Miscellaneous  Newbie  Email
Number of people in swap:44
Location:International
Type:Type 1: Electronic
Last day to signup/drop:November 19, 2010
Date items must be sent by:November 26, 2010
Number of swap partners:6
Description:

Hello everyone! The first swap had a lot more people than I expected sign up. I received a lot of good feedback about it, so if it continues to go well I'll most likely host one of these each month. It's just a fun, simple, and easy swap to complete. Even if you participated last time, please still read everything before joining.

Now all you have to do is answer the questions and email them to your six (6) partners. This next part I am making a swap requirement this time around: Please, answer thoughtfully and do not only respond with one word. The purpose of this swap is to make you think about and reflect on the questions.

This will still be open to everybody, so go ahead and sign up. Since it is around Thanksgiving make sure that you have enough time to answer everything and send it. It's just an email swap, so there should be no flakers. I will be checking profiles though, so newbies should make sure to have those filled out.

So have fun everybody and here are the questions:

  1. When was the last time you tried something new?

  2. What or Who has been distracting you?

  3. You’ve won a walk-on role on your favorite television show and you get to suggest the new character you play. Which show and what type of character?

  4. What would the child you once were think of the adult you have become?

  5. What do you think about when you lie awake in bed?

  6. What did life teach you yesterday?

  7. What white lies do you often tell?

  8. What's the best decision you've ever made?

  9. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?

  10. In your lifetime, what have you done that hurt somebody else?

  11. What is one thing you have not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?

  12. What's the best part of being you?

*Once again I did not come up with these questions. The internet is a marvelous thing sometimes. Also, If English is not your first language and you're having a problem understanding the questions, feel free to send me a message or leave a comment below.

sounds great! my english isn't that bad (i think) but i didn't quite get question nr 7 ;what is it that you mean with "white lies"? (:

leilx 11/19/2010 #

@andietriangle that's a great question. A "white" lie is a lie that theoretically does no harm to the person being lied to, and/or is of little consequence. Here's an example: clicking "sent" on swap-bot well before you send it. Or saying "I'm fine" even when you aren't. You could also see them as social lies--little lies told to lubricate social interaction. Most cultures have those!

@leilx Thanx for answering @andietriangle 's question. I haven't been able to really check up on this the past few days.

Partner's will be assigned soon as well!

Apollo 11/24/2010 #

@mrsnewbill Sorry about the late response, but in the upper right of the page there is a yellow box. In that box you will see a link that says "See the partners you send to". Click that and a separate window will open showing the information you need.
