Let's celebrate the holidays and seasons with a swap. Every month will have its own theme. Each participant will swap theme-related goodies, prepackaged treats, recipes, crafts, and decorations. You can send as many items as you'd like as long as you don't exceed $20. I don't want to set limits on who can and can't join, so this is open to anyone, but keep in mind that I will be setting the themes according to the American calendar. Our first theme is... Halloween! Hints: black and orange, ghouls and witches, haunted houses, candy, costumes. Please use discretion when selecting items to send. Don't send anything that might be considered offensive: the occult, pornography/nudity, anything containing crude or coarse language. On the other hand, if you're easily offended by certain holidays, please reconsider joining this swap.

Hey, everyone. I'm thinking of moving the the sign up and send by dates to an earlier time, but I don't want to do this unless I get an okay from everyone participating. Let me know what you all think.

I wonder if you could create a "group" for this swap, either in Flickr or Blogger, or some place else, it would make it easier to keep an eye on the coming swaps, discuss the issues coming up and show pictures :-)

I think there is a bug in the swapbot system because when I updated my Sent status for another swap, it also changed my status to Sent for this swap. I will email my swap partner when package is actually sent in order to confirm.

It's the 7th. Time to mail your swap.

If you didn't get a chance to mail your swap today, it's okay to send it late. I think we'd all prefer to receive our swap a little late than not at all.

Thank you Heather for a wonderful package packed to the brim with goodies! I love everything especially the chinese take away boxes, we don't get them over here and I love them! I love all the little embelishments/buttons as well... I will be putting those to good use in some halloweeny jewelery i think! Thank you!
