It's easy to claim a prize from another state. Just type "Rhode Island State Lottery" (or whatever state's card you have) in your favorite search engine, go to that state's lottery home page and look for "How to claim your prize". There is usually a print out sheet that you fill in and mail to the lottery headquarters. Your prize comes in the form of a check, in about 2 - 6 weeks. I have received all of my winnings (about $9. so far) from every state I have sent a claim form to.
