Critter of the Month – November

I absolutely LOVE stuffies! The weirder the better ^.^

This is the first in a series of monthly handmade stuffie swaps I will host. The theme for this month will be….. Autumn!

To celebrate this lovely season we are going to make 1 stuffie that either fits the colors and/or holidays of the season (orange, yellow, red, leaves, Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc).

The stuffie should be at least 5 inches long. I won’t put a cap on the max size so you can go nuts! Just keep in mind the bigger it is the more it’ll cost to ship. For that reason I am making this USA only. Sorry int’l peeps :(

You may use upcycled fabric for this. HOWEVER, please make sure the fabric is clean and stain and odor free. And the stuffing HAS to be new. I don’t think any of us wants to receive something icky. You may use any type of fabric you want just bear in mind any allergies your partner may have. This can also be knitted or crocheted. Your choice.

You can use any materials you feel comfortable working with (felt, muslin, paper, beads, buttons, paint, etc). This is sender’s choice but it is always recommended that you check your partner’s profile so you can make it an extra special package. Also please make sure you put effort into this. Only send something you would be ecstatic to receive yourself.

Details:

• You are sending 1 handmade Autumn themed stuffie to 1 partner. You can use some elements that are premade but the stuffie must be mostly handmade.

• The stuffie has to be at least 5 inches long but you can make it bigger if you want.

• Make sure the fabric and embellishments are clean and stain and odor free. The stuffing MUST be new. I want to avoid any of us getting icky things in the mail!!

• Please don’t forget to rate your partner when you get your stuffie. And please be fair when you do. Remember this is sender’s choice. Even if you don’t like the stuffie, as long as it is handmade and meets the requirements then you should rate a 5.

• I'm setting an automatic rating limit of 4.9 just in case there's anyone lurking around in our group with a lower rating. No recent unexplained 1's or 3's also. I want to make sure none of my swappers gets burned!
