Can the swap be any hand-crafted jewelry item?

Just make sure you check your partner's profile because you might choose to make, say, earrings, and your partner doesn't like them or can't wear them because she's allergic. It's starting to become apparent to me there are certain swaps I like signing up for, over and over again. This is going to be one of them. Loved mine from the last one, I can't wait to hear from my partner when she receives mine (she's in Portuagal and I'm in the US)

Can it just be beads? I have all sorts and all size beads. Would like to join this swap but not sure my partner would care for my homemade jewelry. :(

Hi @angelmadkatkrys :)) Hmmm I'm not sure I fully get what you're asking... Do you want to make a necklace with just beads, or send the beads alone?? As to make a necklace only with beads, of course you can. As to send the beads alone... I don't think so... This is a jewelry swap and your partner will be expecting some piece of handmade jewelry. Don't be afraid and give it a try :) It doesn't have to be anything fancy or difficult, just have fun with it and keep it simple, if that's what's worrying you.

I am really loving this kind of swaps, only the waiting till you're rated and if you're partner likes you're handmade items makes it worth while for me. So just like last time i am in!

andelmadkatkrys - it's a place where historical records or files etc. are kept...maybe not always historical but like a bank of information sort of....or a system of information and where it's located...hope that helps.

It looks as if some people do not have any helpful information in their profiles at all. Like their wrist size, or necklace lengths they prefer, or even their favorite colors. How am I to know what to send while keeping the element of surprise and not giving away who I am to my partner?

hi @KnottyDesignsNY :) well... if your partner doesn't have that sort of info in his/her profile, then s/he can't really complain about what you send him/her, right? Don't worry :)
