Mine is Nov. 28th, I had the double whammy of being "too close" to XMAS and sometimes being on Thanksgiving, so I totally understand!!!!! :-)

For some reason (spring fever?!!) most of my family was born in the last three months of the year! We have (including my husband's family) 9 birthdays and 4 are in December. My nephew's is on the 24th! So, our family is very sensitive to the separate gifts for separate occasions. :)

I will say, though, if you're Jewish and your birthday falls on Passover (like my cousin's does very often) - no cake. Or else, some matzoh concoction that is nowhere near the fun of a nice big chocolate cake for your birthday.

Mine's in February...there was almost always a blizzard on my birthday. I remember once, my friends trekking through the storm and staying the night with me. That was kool - they also couldn't get home anyway. :)

I hope you all have happy birthdays and receive separate gifts for separate occasions! :D

Between Nov 28 and Jan 10 we have 5 and that is just in our immediate family(Brian, I and 3 of our 5 kids).

Plus then if you count Brian & I's parents and our siblings the count grows to 11. It's a very crazy time of year.

The funny part is the rest of our family all falls in May to July.

As much as I hate being 12 days before Xmas, I feel so bad for my step-daughter. Hers is 2 days before Xmas. I always try extra hard to make it special for her.
