Description:

Time for a new theme email swap, this time our theme will be still life photography (aka arranged objects). What you photograph is up to you, just be as creative as possible.

Still life photography is the depiction of inanimate subject matter, most typically a small grouping of objects. Still Life gives the photographer more leeway in the arrangement of design elements within a composition and should make for some creative and fun photos for our partners to receive.

If you need a little inspiration to get you started, go to any search engine and type in the words still life photography and see what you can find that will inspire you. Also you can find some tips HERE for your photograph.

You will have FIVE (5) partners that you will email a photograph to in .jpg format. Please attach the photo to your email to be sure your swap partners receives it.

There will be a longer time period to sign up and your photo deadline to be sent is Sept. 22.

Newbies with a well filled out profiles and swappers in good standing (4.8 or higher) are welcome to join. Please do not sign up for this swap if you have had any 1 ratings or unexplained 3's in the past 3 months.

I will angel the swap if need be, but hopefully that will not be the case.

If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me or ask in the comments section below. I will check this page often.

Most of all, have fun! :)

Note: This is a open swap for everyone but we would like encourage you to check out our Shutter Me Up swap group. You may consider this option but is NOT a requirement. The Shutter Me Up group has a photo sharing site where you can view everyones photos that submits and a monthly postal photograph swap that is hosted with different themes. If you enjoy sending a receiving photo swaps through the mail check out our group listing HERE .

Would rather be a snail mail item than email. But will check out shutter me up group.

Thanks and we would love to have you. There is a snail mail swap going on in the group only.

Does anyone mind getting several photos? I misread at first, and have 5 still lives ready to send...

DeniseN10ec 09/ 7/2010 #

I am sure no one would mind getting more than one photo. I would feel very luckey to receive your package.

I don't mind getting more than 1 photo just check that the size of the e-mail is not tooo big, then it is slow to download. Sending big files via an online service will work better. I personally don't mind getting a link to a blog.

Thank you for the link - I love doing these swaps because I want to improve my photography

I just wanted to let my partners know that I have sent my swap. When I click to confirm that it has been sent nothing happens. Seems to be a bug in the system tonight....Will try and confirm again later.
