Description:

If you are constantly craning your neck at restaurants to see what delicious dishes your fellow diners are ordering, this is the swap for you!

For this swap, you will photograph one thing you're eating every day for one week. It can be something you made, was made for you, that you're eating in a restaurant, is pre-packaged, doesn't matter. You can photograph snacks, an entire meal, an interesting new dish you're trying, an incredible cocktail you have at a bar...anything goes, as long as you pick 7 different things to photograph. (They don't all have to be the same type of thing every day.)

Please try to take a good quality photograph, since food no longer looks appetizing if it's not in focus or all washed out. If you're having something amazing in a dim restaurant, go ahead and sneak it in, but let's not have all the photos be blurry or poorly composed.

You will photograph 7 things over the course of 7 different days. Once you've accumulated your snaps, send the photos to your partners via email with a quick note describing the things you've eaten. Please also try to shrink down the file size for the photos if you can so we don't clog up everyone's mailboxes and/or send in two batches.

Since this is an international swap, it might also be nice to include at least one food that is common to your region. It could be a type of wine made in your area, an item on the "spam" menu at the McDonald's in Hawaii, a pie made from fresh fruit from a farm stand on your street corner...you get the idea. I know I'd love to see what people are eating in other countries right now!

All the usual disclaimers: Please do not join if you don't plan on following through. If you are delayed for any reason, make sure to clearly communicate with your partner and with me. This swap is open to everyone with a well-rounded, well-filled-out profile, but those who seem risky will be deleted. And please--remember to rate your partner promptly when you receive your photos! Anyone who shares a meal with you deserves nothing less.

If you haven't received your swap, please give them the benefit of the doubt and contact them to make sure there wasn't an email issue. Hopefully everyone did shrink down the photos they sent, however!
