Guy. Or two. Or for the record, well..here's his Wikipedia info. Grab a bite to eat first.

Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer (May 21, 1960 – November 28, 1994) was an American serial killer and sex offender. Dahmer murdered 17 men and boys – many of whom were of African or Asian descent – between 1978 and 1991, with the majority of the murders occurring between 1987 and 1991. His murders were particularly gruesome, involving rape, torture, dismemberment, necrophilia and cannibalism. On November 28, 1994, he was beaten to death by an inmate at the Columbia Correctional Institution, where he had been incarcerated.

Hoorah! Who wants a sandwich?

I soooo have to do this one because one of my childhood friends lives in the actual house in Bath Ohio where Dahmer grew up. And I would actually go over there and play.. how screwed is that?

gryffindorjen 08/23/2010 #

That's not screwed up, that's awesome!

I am currently reading a book on Dahmer. He is one of my least favorites but I tell ya, this book tells so many interesting things about him;)

Saristotle 08/28/2010 #

@agonysdecay what book?

I've always felt really bad for Dahmer. There was just something intensely lonely about him. I remember I saw an interview of his priest he had while in prison. He asked his priest "Do you think it's a sin for me to live?" (he didn't get the death penalty even when he asked for it). Well his priest said "Yes, I think it is a sin" and Jeffrey agreed with him. Not that I'm some crazy God believer, cause I'm not, but can you imagine what it would be like to really believe everyday you took a breath, even from birth, that you where doing something wrong.

^^^ Sorry that was much longer of a Dahmer rant than I intended it to be LOL

So I'm done early with this one. The ATC is just waiting for a home!

After watching his Biography...I was even more confused about how to feel about him. He was so super intelligent and I truly believe he knew right from wrong and I know he was a very lonely individual---BUT he had zero remorse and spoke so technically and calculated that I still don't think I can feel sorry for him.

Now my husband Richie...no doubt I feel bad for him :)

I can agree with you about Richard, It's really a case of nature verses nurture. Richard had something go wrong with his nurture and Jeffrey with his nature. But I still have a soft spot for Dahmer. Maybe it's because my babysitter use to tell me bed time stories about him LOL Yes, my babysitter was that weird.
