Description:

(This a sneak peek of some of the neat swaps hosted at Halloween Year Round so if halloween themed swaps are right up your spooky alley stop on by!

This swap you will make 1 ornament for 1 partner

I thought to try a funny themed Swap you will take a normaly "Cute" animal and give it a "Scary" twist as in the "Skull Bunny" above

You can use any combination of materials you wish (pretty papers, fabric, fibers, buttons, beads, charms, thread, polymer clay, glass, ceramic, wire, etc). If you make a stuffed ornament or one that otherwise requires filling/stuffing; the stuffing must be made from new material. I'm pretty open here, just please put some effort, an circle with some stickers slapped half-heartedly is not something one would be proud to have hanging on their tree!

•the ornament must be between 2 - 5 inches in length (without the hanger) and must include a way to hang it (the hanger not included in the required length). You may either use a short length of ribbon, string, or just attach a loop that can be used to attach a hook at a later date. Please use your best judgement on the width. It is senders choice whether it is 2-d (flat) or 3-dimensional.

•This one will be mortly senders choice, due to the short turn around. Understand that by signing up for this swap, you are agreeing to send/receive an ornament that contains Halloween themes

•Use care when packaging your ornament to insure it arrives safely, send it in a bubble mailer or otherwise protect it from getting broken or damaged, especially if it includes delicate materials.

Please rate once you receive your ornament, and do so as fairly as you can. Please do not rate based on whether or not you like the ornament, but instead that it meets requirements.

Love this theme! I have already started sketching out ideas for crafting :)

Does it have to be an animal? Can the ornament be any cute/scary combo?

infernus136 09/ 2/2010 #

If we are sending the ornament to our partner should this really be under the 'electronic' swap category? :) Just checking.

I agree with mindfracture. Would love to join swap, but would prefer it to be any cute/scary ornament. What do you think?

stormy1737 09/ 4/2010 #

I'd love to join but I hate to lose 'credit' for a snail mail swap since this one is labeled as electronic. Boo
