Holiday Relief Kit USA ONLY

The holidays, like it or not are fastly approaching. I know many of us, though we try not to get caught up in the mess, do get stressed. THis kit should be designed to relieve some of the pressure that comes with the season and remind us of what is important. Peace, Family, love, charity...the list goes on...

You need to include five or more items that will aid and relieve your partner from holiday trauma or burn out. If you wish you can make the kit portable. Perhaps you could make a lovely good sized pouch or an attractive sturdy display box. Something that beckons the receiver to look inside. You may decide to sew a bag/tote/pouch, collage and alter a box. Maybe there is beautiful pre-made item that catches your eye? Think of something you would love. THis kit comes from your heart and is a gift to your partner. So please be open to others tastes and don't get picky. Remember however that the container needs to be eye catching and the items in it need to be thought out and useful.

* A special stone or crystal that can be hand held and touched used to focus or meditate.
A soothing collection of favorite teas.
*An inspiring book. *Funny items to remind us to keep a sense of humor over the holidays.
*A personal story and favorite de-stress music.
*maybe favorite candies, gum, chewies or other edible to provide quick energy.
*Perhaps a small gourmet ready to eat item.
*A favorite spiritual or religious item that your partner will enjoy. Obviously your partners profile will dictate what is appropriate. Please list otherwise.

Remember this is a Holiday Swap. If you do not celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving or you are highly offended by the commercial and/ or spiritual aspect of this holiday, this is not the swap for you. There is a sacred and secular part to the Holiday Season. This is the time to share not preach. Have fun not judge. Help not hurt.

The send by date is in November,just before the traditonal holiday kick off. Please put together a beautiful package. Take time to keep the cats and pets away, be mindful of smoke and allergies. Everything in the kit needs to evoke a time out and relief from the not so nice feelings of stress from the season.

You decide how much you want to spend but remember time costs too and each person is to send and receive a very special box. Some of us have access to wonderful deals and know how to shop, others may be super creative and inventive. No one should skimp or feel compelled to go overboard.

Zero tolerance for no-sends,(talk to me about undeserved one's. I know it can happen! Items must be sent with delivery confirmation. USA ONLY, cause postage will be higher. No newbies, only swappers who are highly committed with higher end swaps under their belt. You know who you are. I reserve the right to ban anyone I think will be a problem.

For clarification I need to remind everyone that this is a high expectations swap for highly committed swappers. Everyone should end up with a beautiful box of relaxing items for the upcoming holiday season therefore I will be looking very closely at feedback ratings and comments.
